I’m Ingit …  Thank you for visiting my blog.

I live in Singapore. I am a dividend growth investor.

The principal goal of dividend growth investing is simple: To build a reliable, steady stream of rising income. Hence, my goal is to generate income through a portfolio of quality dividend growth stocks that grows faster than inflation. I intent to live on that income eventually when I retire, along with other income available to me.

Dividend growth investing is not a get-rich-quick scheme. It is a relentless, methodical, long-term process. But it is a time-tested investment strategy that, if executed well, can produce large rewards. People require income—cash flow—to pay for the necessities and luxuries of life. Capital tied up in stocks (or any investment) must be converted to cash to be of any use. But dividends provide cash flow organically, and you don’t need to sell assets to receive the cash.

My favourite book on stock investment is Benjamin Graham’s The Intelligent Investor. It details a proven investment strategy of buying value stocks that works well and lets you sleep peacefully at night.

I’ll be sharing my journey of dividend growth investing, and lessons learnt along the way. I will also share some of the interesting and educational articles on stock investment that I found in my personal study.
